Story
The traditional Barrel Feta PDO is produced from pasteurized goat’s and sheep’s milk (collected from the wider area of Kalavrita), with high and stable quality. It matures for 3 months and is kept in wooden barrels with brine.
This method gives it a rich, spicy and slightly salty taste. It is consumed as table cheese, but can also be used in salads and meals.
